The idea
A rider arrives somewhere, late, and still makes it in time, because he came by motorbike. That was the whole seed: a simple, strong promise for the brand.
The question was who the rider should be. I went back and forth until history answered it: the great general reaching the battle on time. For a while the film had no ending of its own; it was meant to land on the battlefield, with the name of a famous battle on screen. I dropped that. It felt too solemn.
The ending
Instead I closed the loop with the rider from the opening and tied it to a MotoGP race in France: a wink to the audience that makes the spot lighter and kinder, without explaining the joke.
Process
I developed it alongside Eat Well, and the model changed halfway through. I had a shot-by-shot version built in Seedance 2.0 and pre-edited; when Seedance 2.5 arrived I tried 30-second continuous takes. They didn't hold all the way, so I combined the best of both: the first half is 2.5, the second half is 2.0. You can see the shift in the general's skin and light, and I kept it, because as the film moves into the past it should feel older.
Music & sound
Three separate cues, generated in Suno v6: the first two untouched, the third edited, with the orchestra reinforced by hand. The three scenes live in very different worlds, so I built the ambiences in Krotos Studio and then worked them by hand to give them continuity across scenes rather than letting them jump on every cut. Mix by me.

Timeline
About three and a half days: two on the image (the model changed mid-project), just under a day on the music, half a day on sound.
